Please allow me to introduce myself and how the concept for H2H Squared was born.

A home-grown Oregonian bred and raised right here in Portland in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, who after high school ventured off to Arizona for college at ASU

in Tempe and graduated with a BA in Design

After graduation, I made my way back to my roots in Portland and discovered the Sellwood Moreland neighborhood with which I immediately fell in love.  After making several different plexes and apartment buildings my home, I eventually bought the 100 year old house I currently reside in over 15 years ago.  And trust me, this great and historic home was in no way, shape, or form staged - but I was able to look past the homeowner's taste and see the good bones and innate qualities - something many perspective home buyers are often unable to do, and I want to help them (and you with a sale) see this 'vision' of your house by showcasing its true potential through staging.

I began my employment career as an Art Supply Buyer for the Portland State University Bookstore and remained in the purchasing arena for the next 10 years, becoming the Inventory and Purchasing Manager for a local picture framing supply wholesaler.

In 2000 I shifted gears and went to work for a local quasi governmental agency in

the sourcing and procurement of Information Technology Goods and Services, was eventually promoted to the Contract Adminstrator for IT, and while still in procurement, a new emphasis emerged with a focus on working more closely with vendors in contract

management and negotiation as well as building successful business partnerships.

Throughout this last chapter I have learned real life business skills that I have directly applied to my personal life and especially to my home when having services performed.

I have a great deal of appreciation for the trades professionals and have nurtured valuable resources and contacts over the years.

The time is now to blend my astute business skills with my passion for design and aesthetic space solutions, so I have formed H2H Squared with hopes that it will successfully enhance interiors in our neighborhoods for years to come; as a long time Westmoreland resident, I am true to my cause and am focusing on design in zips 97202 and western 97206 which is composed of Sellwood, Westmoreland, Brooklyn, Reed, Eastmoreland, and Woodstock, but would also be open to venture to other greater Portland enclaves as well.

Let's face it, we live in the best, greenest, community rich city of Portland and I am proud to have found my niche – to reside and start my dream business.  From the gardens to the river to the parks, our exterior is blessed – I want to enhance your interior to be just as comfortable, enjoyable, functional and serene as our beautiful community with its unique outdoor landscape.

My burning passion for design, creative enhancement of your living space, and close attention to detail coupled with a straight forward business sense focused on affordable change comes from years of experience, training, and education.  I hold a Bachelor's

Degree in Design, possess IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) Certificates in Home Redesign (CIRS – Certified Interior Redesign Specialist) and Home Staging (CISS – Certified Interior Staging Specialist), and am a member of the Sellwood Moreland Business Alliance.  Most importantly my first and foremost goal is for you to love your home as much as I love mine, or if selling, create for you an effective environment that will improve your financial gain and increase your ability to move on to the next chapter of your life.
